It increases capillary endothelial resistance and promoting platelet adhesion by inhibiting biosynthesis of prostaglandins. It is indicated in patients with Hemophilia for short term use to reduce Hemorrhage, Melena, Hematuria, Epistaxis, Prevention of periventricular Hemorrhages in prematurely born children.

Bloc T Brand contains combination of Etamsylate and Tranexamic acid. Etamsylate is a hemostatic agent which increases capillary endothelial resistance and promoting platelet adhesion by inhibiting biosynthesis of prostaglandins. Tranexamic acid acts by reversibly blocking lysine binding sites on plasminogen and thus preventing fibrin degradation. It is indicated in patients with hemophilia for short term use to reduce Hemorrhage and to treat Menorrhagia.
