Diethylcarbamazine Citrate & Chlorpheniramine Maleate Tablets
Flary Forte contains combination of Diethylcarbamazine which is an anthelmintic drug that is highly specific for many parasites. The drug exerts its action by altering micro filarial membrane which leads to their phagocytosis by tissue fixed monocytes of host. It also has an effect on muscular activity of micro filaria & adult worms causing hyperpolarisation and eventually they are dislodged. Chlorpheniramine which gives anti-cold advantage is an antihistamine that works by blocking the action of histamine, which helps reduce symptoms such as watery eyes and sneezing. Combination is indicated in Filariasis, Tropical eosinophilia, infection caused by Wuchereria bancrofti & Brugia malayi.
