Rabeprazole Sodium + Levosulpiride(SR)
Rabeprazole which is proton pump inhibitor which prevents the stomach from producing gastric acid. The inhibition is dose dependent & affects both basal & stimulated acid secretion. Levosulpiride selectively blocks D2 receptors at the central to regulate the motility of gastrointestinal tract (GIT), Thus acts as a prokinetic agent. It is indicated in Gastritis, Duodenitis, Peptic acid disease, NSAID-induced ulcers, Supportive treatment of Helicobacter pylori infection, alongside antibiotics & in treatment of GERD (erosive or ulcerative).
